The KnitWit members meet every Wednesday from 9am to 12noon at the Blairstown Community Center on East Avenue to knit and crochet many various items that are donated to several charities and organizations in Warren County and any surrounding communities requesting our service.
One does not have to attend the meetings to belong as several members crochet or knit items exclusively at their homes.
We can even boast having a man as a member; Ray is a really fast crocheter and doesn't read or need a pattern!
KnitWit members over the age of 55 are part of the RSVP program (Retired Senior and Volunteer Program) of NORWESCAP, based in Phillipsburg, NJ---but any age can join the KnitWits group as a member.
